Liftgate Cylinder Lock Switch: Removal

  1. Open hood.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable (Figure ).
  3. Remove the liftgate trim panel. (Refer to BODY ).
  4. Remove the liftgate cylinder U-bracket by sliding it out.
  5. Remove switch E-clip and disconnect connector.
  6. Remove liftgate cylinder lock switch from liftgate lock cylinder (Fig 1 ) by gently unsnapping.
