Shift Mechanism: Installation

Install shift mechanism to lower console (Fig 1). Install and torque four (4) mechanism-to-console base nuts to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
Install gearshift cable to mechanism (Fig 2).
Install shift interlock cable to mechanism (Fig 3).
Adjust shift interlock cable. (Refer to ADJUSTMENTS )

Install center console assembly (Fig 4).

Install PRNDL surround bezel (Fig 5).

Install gearshift bezel (Fig 6).

Install gearshift knob (Fig 7). Torque set-screw to 2 N.m (20 in. lbs.).
