Section 220 (Battery System): Battery: Installation

Position the battery in the battery tray.
Install the battery hold down bracket and retaining nut. Torque the nut to 20 N.m (180 in. lbs.).
Connect the battery cables to the battery posts, positive cable first. Torque terminal fasteners to 5 N.m (40 in. lbs.).
