Section 373 (Steering): Pump: Installation

- Align the pump with the mounting holes on the engine.
- Install 3 pump mounting bolts through the pulley access holes. Tighten the bolts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
- Install the pressure hose to the pump. Tighten the pressure line to 31 N.m (23 ft. lbs.).
- Install reservoir return hose to the reservoir.
- Install the serpentine drive belt (Refer to COOLING/ACCESSORY DRIVE/DRIVE BELTS - INSTALLATION) .
- Fill the power steering pump (Refer to STEERING/PUMP - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
