System Tests

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2002 Dodge Caravan, 2002 Chrysler Voyager, and 2002 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Self-diagnostic tests are written specifically for Chrysler's Diagnostic Readout Box (DRBIII(R)) scan tool. A generic scan tool may not be capable of performing all necessary test functions.

Front wiper delay feature, washer systems and rear wiper system are continuously monitored and controlled by the Body Control Computer (BCM). If a problem exists (except in integral wiper park switch), a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set. For full diagnosis, use DRBIII(R) scan tool. For scan tool testing, see BODY CONTROL MODULES article. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM TESTS  table. For integral wiper park switch testing, see PARK SWITCH  in COMPONENT TESTS.
