Door Lock Circuit Protection

The door lock system is protected by a 40-amp fuse located in the IPM. The BCM receives lock/unlock input and will turn on the appropriate drivers and provide a voltage level to the door lock motor for a specific time. The IPM is located along the side of the vehicle battery in the engine compartment.
