Section 139 (Power Liftgate System): Chime/Thermistor: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the rear light bar assembly from the vehicle. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER DOORS/SWITCH - REMOVAL) for the procedure.
Grasp the light bar at its sides next to thermistor/chime assembly and gently pull the two sides of the light bar apart until the thermistor/chime assembly can be removed.
