1 - FULL OPEN SWITCH

2 - GEAR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RETAINING BOLT (1 OF 3)

The full open switch is located on the gear motor housing and is used to signal the power liftgate control module when the power liftgate is in the full open position. Two wires are used from the full open switch contacts to the gear motor assemblies main electrical connector. The full open switch is a serviceable component. See Fig 1.
