Fuel Tank Filler Tube Housing: Removal

1. Remove the fuel fill door cover from the fuel fill door arm by gently opening the retaining clip and simultaneously pulling the fuel fill door cover off of the fuel fill door arm.

2. Remove the fuel filler cap band from the fuel fill door arm by pushing the pin of the spreadclip out using, a screw driver or similar tool. Remove the spreadclip from the inside of the fuel fill door arm.
3. Remove the fuel door lock actuator/latch assembly. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER LOCKS/DOOR UNLOCK RELAY - REMOVAL)

4. Loosen the four fuel tank filler tube housing retaining clips.
   NOTE: It is necessary to pierce the housing to access the retaining clips and loosen them.

5. Pry the fuel tank filler tube housing out using trim sticks.

6. Once the fuel tank filler tube housing is sticking out enough to grab with your hands, pull the fuel tank filler tube housing over the filler neck.

7. Remove the hose from the fuel tank filler tube housing, keeping the other end visible from the outside of the car.
