Cruise Control Systems: Cable: Installation

1. Route cable. See Fig 1.
2. Slide speed control cable into bracket.
3. Connect the vacuum line connection at rear of intake manifold.

4. Install clip attaching cable to servo. See Fig 2.

5. Install two nuts attaching mounting bracket and speed control cable to servo. See Fig 3.
6. Tighten nuts to 6.8 N.m (60 in. lbs.).
7. Connect electrical connectors and vacuum hose.
8. Install speed control cable to throttle cam by sliding clasp into hole. See Figure.
9. Install the servo bracket bolt.
10. Tighten bolt to 5.6 N.m (50 in. lbs.).
11. Connect negative battery cable.
