Shift Boot: Removal

Remove the shifter nob set screw and pull knob off of the shifter. See Fig 1.
NOTE: Do not use a trim stick or tool to remove transmission range indicator.
Remove transmission range indicator bezel by squeezing the sides slightly and lifting up until the locking tabs are free of the floor console for pressure points. Refer to Fig 1.
Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped, and remove the shift boot. See Fig 2.
