Installation - 2.7L
- Install starter to transmission.
- Start the upper starter bolt.
- Start the lower bolt and snug it so that the starter will not move.
- Remove the upper bolt.
- Connect the battery cable and torque nut to 8.5 N.m (75 in. lbs.).
- Install the front mount bracket and check heat shield location.
- Install bolt the upper bolt and torque bolt to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.)
- Install the lower and torque bolt to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.)
- Install the front mount through bolt and torque bolt to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.)
- Install the O2 sensor and torque to 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.)
- Lower vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
