Warning Lamp Announcement
The cluster may request a single, multiple chimes, or a continuous chime after illuminating the following indicators:
Low Fuel Warning Indicator:
The LFW indicator will only be turned on when the Fuel Gauge pointer is in between 1/8 position and 'E'. A single chime request will be sent to the BCM.
Engine Coolant Temperature Warning Indicator:
When the gauge indicates a Temperature High condition (245°F/118°C), the cluster will request a single chime and illuminate the warning indicator.
When the coolant temperature gauge indicates a Temperature Critical condition (260°F/120°C) the cluster will request a continuous chime and begin flashing the warning indicator.
Charging System Warning Indicator:
The cluster will request a single chime and illuminate the warning indicator for a Voltage High (16 volts) or voltage low (10 volts) condition.
Low Engine Oil Pressure Warning Indicator:
The cluster will request a single chime and illuminate the warning indicator when the engine is operating above 450 RPM and the oil pressure drops below 4 psi/27.5 kPa.
Engine Oil Temperature Warning Indicator:
The cluster will request a single chime and illuminate the warning indicator when the gauge indicates a Temperature High (290°F/144°C) condition. The cluster will request a continuous chime and begin flashing the warning indicator when the gauge indicates a Temperature Critical (300°F/160°C) condition.
Decklid Ajar Indicator:
The cluster illuminates the indicator if the BCM Bus message has decklid ajar.
Fasten Seat Belt Indicator:
The Cluster will illuminate the warning indicator and request a chime when the ACM PCI bus message indicates that the driver seat belt is not buckled.
Check Engine Indicator:
The cluster will request a single chime after the indicator is illuminated.
