2.4L Engine

NOTE: The 2.7L engine is equipped with an inlet thermostat. To remove the thermostat (Refer to COOLING/ENGINE/THERMOSTAT HOUSING - REMOVAL) .
  1. Drain cooling system ((Refer to COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE) ).
  2. Remove pressure cap. See Fig 1.
  3. Disconnect hoses at coolant outlet connector.
  4. Remove bolts attaching coolant outlet connector.
  5. Remove coolant outlet connector.
