Throttle Body: Removal
- Disconnect negative cable from battery cable.
- Remove air inlet to throttle body hose clamp.
- Remove throttle and the speed control (if equipped) cables from lever and bracket.
- Disconnect electrical connectors from the idle air control motor and throttle position sensor (TPS). See Figure or Figure.
- Remove throttle body to intake manifold attaching bolts.
- Remove throttle body and gasket.
