Radiator-Removal-3.0L Diesel

- Drain coolant. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove head lamps.
- Remove front cross member together with front grille.
- Remove front bumper.
- Remove bolts holding air charge hose to sheet metal and intercooler.
- Detach air intake pipe at the body.
- Detach both coolant hoses at the coolant recovery container.
- Disconnect wiring connector at coolant level sensor.
- Remove radiator hose at bottom right of radiator.
- Disconnect transmission cooler lines at radiator.
1 - CLIP 2 - SHROUD 3 - RADIATOR 4 - BOTTOM RADIATOR TRIM PANEL 5 - CHARGE AIR COOLER 6 - TOP RADIATOR TRIM PANEL 7 - POWER STEERING COOLER LOOP - Remove the radiator trim from the left and right side.
- Remove radiator fan. See REMOVAL .
- Remove bolts securing intercooler to radiator.
- Remove screws and upper radiator trim from radiator.
- Move condenser/intercooler/power steering cooler assembly forward.
- Lift the radiator assembly up and out of the rubber grommets.
- Take off charge air cooler together with cooling loop of the steering at the radiator.
- Remove bottom radiator trim.
- Disconnect radiator hose at radiator.
- Disconnect coolant pipe together with radiator hose at the fan shroud.
- Remove radiator fan shroud.
