Engine Control Module (ECM)

- Install ECM on mounting bracket. See Fig 1. Torque nuts to 10.7N.m (95 lbs. in.).
- Install ECM (2) and mounting bracket assembly in vehicle. See Fig 1.
- Connect both ECM (2) electrical connectors.
- Install air cleaner housing assembly (2). Refer to appropriate ENGINE - SERVICE INFORMATION article.
- Connect vacuum hose (1).
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Install air inlet tube (3).
- Reprogram ECM. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
