3.3/3.8L Engine

  1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
  2. Remove accessory drive belt. Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
  3. Remove generator mounting bolts and reposition generator. Refer to REMOVAL .
  4. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector from the EGR valve.
  5. Remove the 2 EGR tube bolts.

  6. Remove the 2 mounting bolts for the EGR valve and gasket.
