Compression Link

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  2. Remove wheel mounting nuts (3), then tire and wheel assembly (1). Refer to REMOVAL .

    1 - REAR SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER
    2 - MOUNTING BOLT AND NUT
    3 - MOUNTING BOLT AND NUT
    4 - KNUCKLE
    5 - COMPRESSION LINK
  3. Remove bolt and nut (3) mounting link at knuckle (4).
  4. Remove bolt and nut (2) mounting link at crossmember (1).
  5. Remove link (5).
