MODULE, Engine Control: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the cowl panel cover. Refer to Body/Exterior/COVER, Cowl Panel - Removal .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the Engine Control Module (ECM).
  4. Remove the two bolts that secure the ECM and bracket to the inner fender.
  5. Remove the ECM and bracket from the vehicle.
  6. If required, remove the two nuts that secure the bracket to the ECM and remove the bracket from the ECM.
