Clean all sealing surfaces.
Install water pump (1) and gasket. Tighten mounting bolts to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
Install timing chain guides and timing chain.
Install the accessory drive belts. See Cooling/Accessory Drive/BELT, Serpentine - Installation .
Install the radiator fan assembly. See Cooling/Engine/FAN, Cooling - Installation .
Evacuate air and refill cooling system. See Cooling/Engine/PUMP, Water - Standard Procedure .
Check cooling system for leaks. See Cooling - Standard Procedure .
