Module, Body Control: Removal: Removal: Procedure

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove box assembly (1). Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP) lower hush panel (3).

  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the Body Control Module (BCM) (1) receptacles (2 and 3) as needed.
  5. Remove the fasteners (4) that secure the module, two at the bottom, and one at the top.
  6. Pull the module away from the side bulk head and down and remove the module.
  7. Remove the BCM from the vehicle.
