Module, Telematics Gateway: Removal: Removal

  1. Perform a complete backup of user data. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions.

  4. Remove the switch bank. Refer to POD, SWITCH BANK, REMOVAL .

  5. Remove the Telematics Gateway Module (TGM) (1) retainers.
  6. Pull the TGM out far enough to access the harness connectors.

    CAUTION:

    Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.

  7. If equipped, disconnect the antenna(s) (1), RF Hub and UCI cables (4), video cable (3) and wiring connectors (2) from the TGM.
  8. Remove the TGM from the vehicle.
