Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR ANY OTHER ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
  Are there any other DTC along with P058D?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the applicable diagnostic test procedure(s). Refer to 2.4L - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. The Intelligent Battery Sensor is reporting internal errors
  Is the DTC active or pending?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Intelligent Battery Sensor in accordance with the service information. Refer to REMOVAL .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST . .
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
