Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With a scan tool, read DTCs.
  Is the DTC active or pending?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
SAS SENSOR/EPS MODULE COMMUNICATION RELATED DTCS IN OTHER MODULES
1. With the scan tool, read all DTCs that are present in all modules.
  Is there more than one module with active DTCs "Logged Against" the SAS Sensor/EPS Module at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Replace and program the EPS Module/Steering Gear in accordance with the service information.
  No
  - Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL, REMOVAL .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST . .
