Module, HVAC: Installation: Installation

Position the HVAC Module to the HVAC housing.
Install and securely tighten the three retaining screws (1) that secure the HVAC Module to the HVAC housing.
Connect the wire harness connectors (2) to the HVAC Module.
Install the radio. Refer to RADIO, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable.
Initiate the Actuator Calibration function using a scan tool. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
NOTE:
If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to align the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU. Follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.
