Removal And Installation - Emergency Assistance Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the switch bank pod from the instrument panel cover. Refer to POD, SWITCH BANK, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the instrument panel wiring harness connector and antenna connectors from the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM).
  4. Remove the four screws from the EAM mounting bracket that secure the EAM to the bracket.
  5. Remove the EAM from the vehicle.
