Sensor, Fuel Tank Pressure: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the rear wheelhouse splash shield from the vehicle. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL

- Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector (1).
- Disconnect the fuel tank vent line (3) at the filler tube (4) and the fuel tank vent steel line (6).
- Carefully raise the retaining tab using a flat blade screwdriver (2) or equivalent, rotate and remove the fuel tank pressure sensor (1) from the fuel tank vent tube.
