Transmission Control Module (TCM): Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1 - Lock - Disengage the lock holding the wire harness connector to the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
- Remove the fasteners that retains the wire harness bracket.
- Separate the wire harness connector from the TCM.
1 - TCM Bolts - Remove the TCM bolts.
- Separate the TCM from the vehicle.
