Sending Unit And Sensor Fuel Level

REMOVAL 

1. Remove fuel pump module. Refer to TANK, FUEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Use a terminal removal tool and remove negative electrical wire from fuel level sensor.

3. Remove positive electrical wire from fuel level sensor.
4. Disengage the fuel level sensor retaining tabs from fuel pump module housing.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

• Position fuel level sensor to fuel pump module housing. Press to lock the fuel level sensor into place on the fuel pump module.
