Read This First

Before using this section you should have performed On-Board Diagnostic (OBDII) System Check and determined following:

• The powertrain control module (PCM)/engine control module (ECM) and Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) are operating correctly.
• There are no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored.
• The scan tool data is within normal operating range.
  NOTE: Verify customer complaint, and locate correct symptom in table of contents. Check items indicated under that symptom.
