Test Description

The number(s) below refer to step(s) on diagnostic table.

1. 3. This step checks for PCM/ECM providing a ground for operation of fuel pump relay.
2. 7. By confirming that wiring is okay using steps 2 through 6, it can be determined that fuel pump relay is at fault.
3. 9. After determining that there is no ground being provided by PCM/ECM to fuel pump relay, fault is either PCM/ECM or wiring between PCM/ECM and fuel pump relay.
