EGR or canister purge control solenoid should start clicking. If EGR or canister purge control solenoid does not click, replace solenoid. If EGR or canister purge control solenoid clicks, turn ignition off. If problem occurs when cold, proceed to DR12  . If problem occurs when warm, proceed to DR19  .
