2.2L Electronic Fuel Control: Operation: Notes

The SCC has a microprocessor that continually receives input from various ESA/EFC system sensors. The SCC then electronically advances or retards the ignition timing to provide even driveability during the various engine operating conditions. During crank/start conditions, the SCC has a set amount of advanced timing for quick efficient starting.
