NOTE:
Verify power door lock system is operating properly before trouble shooting anti-theft system. See DOOR LOCKS - POWER & KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM
under ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Ensure all component terminals and ground connections are clean and tight. Repair or replace components and circuits as necessary.
Trouble shooting the anti-theft system is accomplished using a diagnosis by symptom method. Locate the appropriate primary symptom under the appropriate SYMPTOM CHARTS. See Figure or Figure . Also, refer to CIRCUIT TESTS under TESTING for diagnosing appropriate circuit.
