Power Door Lock Test 13A - Right Door Key Cylinder Disarm Switch Failure

NOTE: Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1B  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Clear trouble codes as needed. Using scan tool, read passenger's door zone switch voltage. If RF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is about 4 volts, inspect passenger's door key lock. Replace key lock as needed. If RF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is not about 4 volts, go to next step.
  2. Turn passenger's door key cylinder switch to lock position and observe voltage on scan tool. Do not hold key in lock position for more than 7 seconds or code will set. If RF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is about 4 volts, go to next step. If RF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is not about 4 volts, replace passenger's door key cylinder switch.
  3. Operate passenger's door key lock cylinder several times from unlock to lock position. Release key lock cylinder. With key lock cylinder in neutral position, observe scan tool voltage. If RF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is about 5 volts, system is currently functioning correctly. If RF DOOR ZONE SWITCH voltage is not about 5 volts, replace passenger's door key cylinder switch.
