Door Trim Panel: Removal

  1. Remove screw at inside door handle.
  2. Remove screws attaching speaker and grille to trim panel.
  3. Remove speaker from door trim panel.
  4. Disconnect speaker wiring connector from door wiring harness.
  5. Remove door speaker from vehicle.
  6. Remove screws attaching trim panel to inner door panel through speaker opening. See Fig 1.
  7. Remove screw attaching front of trim panel to inner door panel.
  8. Remove screws attaching trim panel to bottom of door.
  9. Pull outward at bottom of trim panel and disengage upper edge of trim panel from inner belt weatherstrip.
  10. Disconnect tweeter wiring connector from door wiring harness.
  11. Disconnect inside door handle wiring connector from door wiring harness.
  12. Remove trim panel from door.
