Description & Operation: Engine: Notes

Engine is an 8.0 Liter (488 CID), 10-cylinder, 90 degree V10, lightweight, single-cam, overhead valve engine. Engine is designed for premium unleaded fuel. Crankshaft is forged steel. Cylinder block and cylinder heads are aluminum. Firing order is 1-10-9-4-3-6-5-8-7-2. Cylinders are numbered from front to rear as follows:

• Left Bank - Cylinders No. 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.
• Right Bank - Cylinders No. 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
