Output Speed Sensor (All Models)

NOTE: On 4.7L models, the OSS signal is sent to the TCM, which in turn sends it to the PCM.

Models equipped with an overdrive A/T use a transmission Output Speed Sensor (OSS). OSS is located on output shaft housing of transmission. OSS delivers input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to indicate transmission output shaft speed.
