Power Window Switch

Remove inoperative power window switch from door trim panel. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using a DVOM, check for continuity between appropriate terminals of power window switch. See appropriate POWER WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 , Fig 2 or Fig 3 . If continuity is not as specified, replace power window switch.
Driver's power window switch has electronic components inside to actuate auto-down feature. If auto-down is only feature that does not work, replace driver's power window switch.

Power Window Lock-Out

⁽¹⁾	Check for continuity between power window switch terminal No. 9 (for connector C1) and terminal No. 8 (for connector C2) with power window lock-out switch in OFF position (raised position).
