Intake Air Temperature Sensor

Individual component testing is not available from manufacturer. If Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor or wiring circuit failure exists, a DTC may be stored in the powertrain control module. For IAT sensor testing, perform the following diagnostic test:

• On 2.0L, perform DTC P0111: INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR PERFORMANCE under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - NEON & SX (CANADIAN) - 2.0L article.
• On 2.4L, perform DTC P0111: INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR PERFORMANCE under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - SRT-4 - 2.4L article.
