Exterior/Interior Trim: DECKLID: Hinge: Installation
- Position decklid hinge on vehicle.
- Position any shims retrieved during removal between the hinge and the trunk pad. Install bolts attaching hinge to trunk pan and tighten to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
- Loosely install bolts attaching the hinge to the decklid.
- Align the hinge marks made on the decklid.
- Tighten the bolts attaching hinge to the decklid to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
- Verify decklid operation and alignment and adjust if necessary. (Refer to - GAP AND FLUSH - SPECIFICATIONS ).
