Throttle Body: Removal

  1. Remove the battery cover and disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly, refer to the AIR CLEANER HOUSING for more information.
  3. Remove the throttle cable (Fig 1 ).

  4. Disconnect the TPS electrical connector (Fig 2 ).

  5. Remove the throttle body bolts (Fig 3 ) and wiring clips (Figure ).

  6. Remove the throttle body.
