Battery Tray: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the battery from the vehicle. Refer to BATTERY  .
  3. Remove the battery tray retaining fasteners (Fig 1 ).

  4. Pull battery tray up far enough to disconnect the engine vacuum harness hose from the battery tray mounted, vacuum reservoir.
  5. Remove the battery tray from the vehicle.
