Installation - 1.6L
- Install the sensor (Figure ).
- Install knock sensor (Figure ). Tighten knock sensor bolt to 22 N.m (195 in. lbs.) torque. Over or under tightening effects knock sensor performance resulting in possible improper spark control.
- Locate the electrical connector (Figure ).
- Connect the heretical connector (Figure ).
- Install the fuel rail cover (Figure ).
- Connect the negative battery cable.
