Park Lock Cable: Installation

Route the park lock cable through the instrument panel between the steering column and the shift lever assembly (SLA).
Install the park lock cable (2) to the ignition switch. See Fig 1.
Tighten the park lock cable (2) to the ignition switch. See Fig 2.
Install the lower steering column shroud.

Connect the park lock cable coupling (1) to the shift lever assembly (SLA). Press locking tab (2) together and push coupling (1) against the spring force into the SLA, twist through 90° (right or left) until locked. See Fig 3.

Install the bottom section (2) of the center section of instrument panel. See Fig 4.

Install the top section (3) of the center section of instrument panel. See Fig 5.
