Engine Mounts: Installation

NOTE: This procedure covers either the left or right engine mount.
  1. With engine raised, position engine mount onto engine and install bolts. Tighten bolts to 41 N.m (30 ft. lbs.) or See Figure.Figure.
    NOTE: If replacing right side engine mount ensure ground strap is installed also. See Figure.
  2. Lower engine with jack while guiding engine mount studs into frame slots. See Figure.
  3. Install engine mount to frame nut. See Figure. Tighten nut to 102 N.m (75 ft. lbs.).
  4. Remove jack.
  5. Lower vehicle.
