Body & Frame: Windows: Interior/Exterior: DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Hinge: Installation

NOTE: A suitable body sealant should be used when removing or moving the hinges.

1. If necessary, paint replacement hinge before installation.
2. Install the hinge (2) and install the body bolts (1).
3. Tighten the bolts to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).

4. Install the liftgate bolts (2) and tighten to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
5. Adjust liftgate if necessary. (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/HATCH/LIFTGATE/TAILGATE/LIFTGATE - ADJUSTMENTS) 
6. Position the upper rear headliner trim and seat fully.
