Idle Air Control Motor: Installation

The IAC motor is inserted into a housing at the front of the intake manifold. See Figure. The IAC motor and housing are serviced together.

1. Attach electrical connector to IAC motor.
2. Install IAC motor and housing into manifold. Tighten mounting screws to 4 N.m (35 in. lbs.) torque.
