Open deck lid.
Remove four bolts to battery compartment cover and remove cover.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
WARNING: Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag components. Failure to do this may result in serious or fatal injury.
Remove the seat from vehicle. Refer to REMOVAL .
Disconnect the two electrical connectors (1) from the OCM (2).
Remove the two screws (3) retaining the OCM (2) to the mounting bracket. Pivot the OCM (2) sideways to remove.
